What makes the 2022 Volvo V60 different?
May 18 2022,
The 2022 Volvo V60 is a vehicle like few others due to its technologies, its practicality and its safety.
The technologies
The 2022 Volvo V60 is full of advanced technologies, both inside the cabin and under the hood. Indeed, the V60 is available with the T8 Recharge powertrain which is one of the most advanced plug-in hybrid powertrains available on the market. It combines a 2.0L turbocharged and supercharged engine as well as an electric motor on the rear axle. Improved for this year, the electric motor now develops 87 horsepower and allows an all-electric range of around 64 kilometers. Inside, the V60 adopts a new infotainment system powered by Google that allows a seamless connection with other connected Google devices.
The practicality
Since it is a wagon, the 2022 Volvo V60 offers much more cargo space than a sedan without having the exterior bulk of an SUV. This means that the V60 is more comfortable and easier to drive, while still being able to carry anything you need to move with its 1,699 liters of cargo space available by folding down the rear seats. In order to help it fit to your needs even easier, a number of cargo space accessories are available, such as a cargo barrier that drops from the roof and an integrated dog cage.
The safety
Volvo has always been known for the outstanding safety of its vehicles and the 2022 V60 is no different. Indeed, the V60 is equipped with a multitude of safety technologies such as the forward collision warning with pedestrian, cyclist and large animal detection, the lane keeping assist with oncoming traffic protection, the rear cross traffic alert and the blind spot monitoring system. The V60 also features some Volvo exclusive safety systems that have proven their worth, such as the Whips whiplash protection system that has protected Volvo drivers from neck injuries caused by rear collisions for over twenty years.
